The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to participate in the 10th International Workshop on Silicon-Based Polymers. This congress will take place from the 26th to the 30th of April in Aussois, in the french Alps.

Following past congresses in Moscow (RU) and Hamilton (CA), the new edition of the congress aims at gathering all people worldwide interested in polymers and materials containing Silicon in their backbone. Such topic encompasses the silicones, the sol-gel chemistry and their polysilsesquioxane materials, silica and other exotic inorganic macromolecules that emerge from foolish scientific brains! We are pleased to welcome people from academia and industry, with the constant view of generating rich interactions and (hopefully) future collaborations.

In the next months, this website will be constantly updated to take you informed of the last development, such as call for papers and posters, invited speakers and information on the venue and extra-activities. You can already notice that the only pleanry speaker of the congress, Richard M. Laine, will give us an overview on the use of rice hull to generate new types of amourphous silica and their use in polymers.
