학술발표회 [2013.07.14~19] The 14th International Conference on the Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry of Germanium, Tin and Lead

On behalf of Kim Baines, Conference Chair, I want to invite you to participate in the 14th International Conference on the Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry of Germanium, Tin and Lead (ICCOC-GTL2013) which will take place July 14-19, 2013 at the Inverary Resort in Baddeck on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
This e-mail is being sent to you because you were on the ISOS XVI or post-ISOS/IDW e-mailing list; if you wish to continue to receive information about GTL2013, please send an e-mail to mgordon@uwo.ca and put GTL in the subject line.
The stellar list of plenary and invited speakers who have already confirmed that they will be presenting promises that this will be a technically interesting and excellent conference; please check the web site for updates to this list. Abstract submission will be through webHermes which will be accessible early in 2013.
Cape Breton Island is a very beautiful part of the world with attractions for people of many, many different interests. Baddeck is a charming town with lots of interesting shops,cafes and pubs and is home to the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. The Inverary Resort is exceptionally family-friendly; the room rates are affordable for students and families alike and are available for the weekends before and after the conference as well as for the week of GTL2013.
The conference will open with a reception on Sunday evening, July 14. Oral sessions will begin Monday morning; the first poster session will be held in conjunction with lunch on Monday. There will be an optional tour toLouisbourg Fortress and Town on Wednesday afternoon and an optional banquet on Thursday evening, July 18, which will feature seafood from the area.
There is information on our web site about travelling to Baddeck as well as tourism information for Baddeck, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia and the Maritimes. There is so much to do; please look at the links to help you decide that you not only want to participate in GTL2013 but spend some additional time in this lovely part of Canada as well.
On-line registration will be available early in 2013; accommodations will be able to be reserved on-line very soon.
